1. What This Service Is

Workova Expense Wallet (Staging) is a shared-expense tracking and prepaid-wallet management tool for groups such as sports clubs, roommates, societies, and trip organizers. It is not a bank, payment processor, or licensed financial institution. Wallet balances represent an internal record of who owes or is owed within your group — they are not held in a regulated account and do not earn interest.

2. Accounts & Groups

• You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login credentials confidential.
• A group's owner and admins are responsible for the accuracy of recharges, expenses, and member data they record.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to record fraudulent transactions.
• Attempt to access another group's data without authorization.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, including through excessive automated requests.
• Misuse API tokens or webhooks to extract data you are not authorized to access.

4. Financial Records & Ledger Integrity

Ledger entries (recharges, expense debits, refunds, and adjustments) are immutable once created — they cannot be edited or deleted, including by administrators, to preserve an accurate history. Corrections are made by recording an offsetting entry (e.g. a refund or cancellation), never by altering the original record.

5. No Warranty

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including disputes between members of a group about who owes what.

7. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion from your Profile page. We may suspend or terminate access for any account that violates these terms.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
